2010 3500 SWR trucks
#3
I just got a pic from my buddies 2010 SRW 3500.. It appears they put the DRW main pack on and left the overloads off.
I find that very interesting as that will make the 3500's ride different than the 2500's. From 03-09 the 2500 and 3500 SRW had the same base leaf pack, so there was no difference in ride, now the 3500 SRW appears to have the heavier duty main pack..
I dont know if the spring rates changed in 2010 or not, but on 3rd gens it was 2600 in/lb for the 2500/3500 SRW base pack, and 2800 in/lb for the DRW base pack. Both SRW and DRW overloads were 1300 in/lb.

Actually, I thought the 2500 spring packs had a heaver capacity than the 3500 spring packs. The 3500 had an overload spring so it could handle more. Not sure on the spring rates, but this was what I heard from a good buddy. This was on the 03-09 trucks.

The 2500 and 3500 SRW have more leaves, but they are thinner and do not offer the same weight carrying capacity. But they will offer a better ride, if its noticible.
