Just noticed something neat about my exhaust brake?
During towing a trailer thru the mountains in the last few days, I saw that I was building boost during exhaust braking. At typically at times I was pulling 3-4psi of boost. Maximum boost measured during braking was 6-8psi. Also saw that the rail pressure was increasing during exhaust braking. Measure 6-8ksi of rail pressure, with no throttle, just riding braking. Typical idle rail is 4.3kpsi.

I regularly saw around 5psi when hauling heaving and using the EB.
I may miss it, but Im sure the sound of that S466 breathing through a Steed mani, making them diesel tones of old will cheer me right up.
