ATTN: mega cab owners....
Will be purchasing a 4wd mega cab, single rear wheel in a few months. I'm wondering what yall are seeing on mpg empty, ratio of axle, and if you're stock or modded. Just curious how good of mileage you are getting. Thanks.

2010 2500 Laramie Mega Cab, 6spd Auto, 3.73, K&N Air Filter, Smarty Jr, cat back deletes, 52,500 miles. Tune level set at 3 (performance - +100 HP) and timing set at smarty default (the most advanced timing).
Live in center of Maine and a lot of the roads around here are 55 MPH. At that speed, I can get around 20-21 when I'm watching my driving. At Interstate hwy speeds, 70-75, I get 17. Both are unladen, of course.

Thank you all. Would 3.73 be beat or 4.10 for mileage? I do plan on deleting. I'm just hoping with a 4ed, mega cab single rear wheel I could get about 20mpg. And how much would a little bigger tire hurt? Maybe 1mpg or so?

373 is a good all around ratio.unless you are towing all the time. I have 373sthe and tow my camper and haul wood i used to haul horses but got rid of them i am always impressed with my truck.it never lets me down

Not much towing at all with this one. Maybe light if anything. Is there a thread on pictures of 4th gens, cant seem to find it. Specifically looking for pics of the dark brown trucks.

I have the 2012 3500 4x4 6.7 Megacab. I just broke 10,200 miles and undeleted. Running 19.5" wheels with 265/70r19.5 tires.
Around 9800, it seems like someone flipped a switch and I went from about 13.5 hwy to 16.7 hwy.
