Anyone Done HIDs Yet?

Anyone Done HIDs Yet?
I have been searching and reading tons on this subject, BUT, some people with 1500's say that they got their HID kits to work with no issue's (no good explanations though) and then there are others that say that had to return their kits because they couldn't figure out how to get rid of the "bulb out" light, and/or the flickering.
Has anyone on DTR put an HID kit on ther 2010 with quad headlamps and had no issues yet?
I have been looking at this website for the kit I will purchase, and I have called them but it seemed like the second I said dodge ram, the tech just wanted to get off the phone. He said that no matter what I will have a "bulb out" notification. According to him, capacitors and resistors won't help anything except for the flickering.

Will all of the smart people out here, I know that there is a way to do this properly without spending a ton of money. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i have the ddm tuning kit and havd had no problem for about 6 months now. didnt do fogs and i beleive the highs wont work for now, but lows work awesome and i havent had the need to use brights since i have these. There was some talk of problems with the slimn ballasts but i have the bigger ones, i think called raptor. Install was very easy too and teh price cant be beat, even if you have to replace a part it is still cheaper then most stuff on the market. you will need the code eliminator and the adaptor. go with the 55w. no need to replace whole housing

I just want to clarify. So I will need to buy the HID harness?
I will do the fogs at the same time as well. Do you think I will need the light out eliminators and another HID harness?
Also, sweet ride you got there

thanks. yes you will need the HID harness and the eliminator. I am not sure on the fogs but i dont think it would hurt to have those on as well. You might be able to get by without it on the fogs but i cant vouch for it. Prolly want to get the 35W for the fogs since they are a smaller housing. Im assuming you have the quad headlights right?

Correct, I do have the quad. The set up you mention is the exact setup I was going to purchase 55w lows and 35w fogs like they recomend on their website. I'm sure I will be PMing you before the install to make sure I don't screw anything up.
Thanks again for your input.

HID Conversion
It is a bulb replacement. Nothing to convert. Came with 4 Ballast, 4 fuses, and the Canbus fix. Completely reversable. No codes or lights. Very, very happy.
