Puff of grey/blue when starting after sitting for a while.

Anyone else experience this?
Anyone had problems with leaking injectors or valve guide seals?

Your insight is always appreciated.

Mine used to puff a bit of white after a long sit. If its just a puff on startup, and only on occasion, I wouldnt worry about it none.

It's pretty consistent. Every morning and every time I fire it up after a 10 hour shift at work.
Definately grey versus white.
If it were to be oil from the valve guide seals I wouldn't be terribly worried.
My main concern is that if an injector(s) is leaking, I'd hate to have a hydraulic lockup if it were to sit for more than just over night.
Is there a product I can dump in the tank that would be safe to try and clean the injectors befor I think about a trip to the dealer? Dealer is three hours away so I'd like to minimize those trips.

I guess you've checked your oil level and consistency of the oil? I would hope your "change oil" light would come on if it got too much fuel in it from a leaky injector.

The oil is good......awesome since deletion of egr and dpf.
I figured that the change oil indicator was only prompted by either engine time or milage. Correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt there is any on board analysis or measurement of engine oil.

Could this be from glow plugs/heating grid not functioning properly? I say this because I see not 1 but 6 impulses during the puff that comes out.

Also, I had a CEL come on while driving and could not pull any codes with my H&S console. I did manage to clear it and it has not reappeared. Is there another way to retrieve the code(s) without a trip to the dealer?

If I do have to go to the dealer, do I have to remove the H&S stock program and dpf delete pipe for them to hook up their obd diagnostics?
