EMS free spin hub conversions

All,

I put one of these kits in my 2006 and it was the best add-on I ever did. Will the EMS kits for the 2001-2008 work on a 2011-2012? Has there been any substantial changes since then?

What sort of fuel mileage improvement did you see after installing the hubs?

At 2 mpg the mileage payback would take a lot of miles, BUT add that to the deletes-smarty and firmer tires and a few other things, a guy could have a really outstanding truck with good mileage. I'll add it to my list of upgrades.

Just how long do most people go until the OEM bearings are toast?

Rootercycle - Thanks for bringing this up!

i'm trying to find a kit that will fit the 2012 truck I'm about to order. So far, none of the companies have returned my calls, and the kits that are listed on EMS, Dynatrac, and Spyntec are listed up to 2008. I have been told that the stub shafts are different on the newer trucks. Don't know but will keep researching

Dodge changed the unit bearing and knuckle design in 2009 and then went to bigger axle u-joints in 2010. theis obviously required different inner and outer axleshafts.

Dynatrac should have a kit out for the 09 trucks in the next month or so. The 2010+ versions will hopefully come out soon after that.
