XM Radio Antenna Installation on 05
How have you guys been mounting your antennas? I would like to mount in on the roof of the cab but dont know which way I can get it out there. On my Ford they went out the third brake light. On this truch I dont know an easy path.

i ran mine from the unit mounted on the dash down under the dash across the right side out from under the dash out the door jamb(so it can be removerd easily), up the jamb under the side windshield trim over the top of the windshield(under the trim) to the center then straight back to the center of the roof. put a glob of slicone or such in the top to hold the wire let it dry then stretch the ant wire out across the roof and bingo done and the silicone keeps the wire tight.
want pics send me an email at yfz450guy@comcast.net and i will shoot some pics and send them to you.

I ran my antenna lead from the interior of the truck up through the seam between the rear sliding glass window and stuck the magmount antenna just in front of the center brake light. Its been riding there for a year now and I haven't thought about it since the day I put it up there.

I mounted mine on the passenger side roof next to the rear door. It was very easy to tuck the ant. wire behind the interior molding to get to the upper portion of the rear door. No problems so far, but I just installed this yesterday.
I purchased the truck off of the lot and it came with Sirius. As part of the purchase, I get a 1 year subscription to Sirius. I have a 2 year contract with XM, so I installed my XM Skyfi 2 also. Duelling satellite radios!
Before you ask, I will say that the additional information you get real time from a receiver like a Delphi Skyfi 2 makes the satellite radio experience that much better. The Dodge setup doesn't appear to provide information such as song title and artist. As for content, I am leaning towards XM. Don't forget that Sirius will be taking NASCAR away from XM in 2 years.
I don't know if I will subscribe to Sirius after this "free" year. When Sirius gets NASCAR, well then I will certainly consider it. Don't forget the "All Elvis" station on Sirius!

I've mounted mine in the same location on three different dodge trucks. Unbolt the third brake light and there is a large hole in the sheet metal. The plug in will fit through that easily. If you have a sliding rear window you will be able to do this by yourself otherwise find a buddy have him push the back of the over head liner down and feed the plug through it. Then just pull the wire until it is taught. Then run it along the top of each door just under the rubber weatherstripping on the inside and down the front windshield pillar. Pretty simple.
