If you go to a good body shop, you will never be able to tell it was repaired.. I had someone rear end my truck when it was parked, and I had to have a tailgate, bumper, hitch, and drivers side bedside replaced, and it looks like new, and drives like new.. Of course, it cost me my $500 deductible, and my insurance company $4500, because the hit my truck and ran... and they never found him.

Yeah, UNLESS there is an insurance company involved. You'd be suprised at what they consider "fixable"

If you loved your truck just the way it was definitely keep it that way, but it might be an opportunity to change a few things if you wanted to also. I just got mine and already 'have the fever'!

Again, sorry to hear about the accident and I am glad nobody was hurt.
Good advice here. That's what I am doing right now with mine
Srt10 hood, Bumper Cover, Projection lights, Billet grille (painted shell)

I have not had the time to go to a junkyard so my truck is still in poor condition bodywise, though at least if somone sees me they know who I am.

It is my work truck as well as daily driver, so the body work and paint will be nice, considering how scratched and dinged up the bed is.
Aftermarket fenders can be had for under $100 a piece. But I'd stick with OEM.

I know how it feels. I wrecked my 99 1/2 ton last year in NM. Hit an elk and then twisted the frame hitting the ditch trying to avoid her. shifted the cab foward inch and half. Quite a shock when the airbags deployed. Walked away without a scratch. Upgraded to a 04 3500 and love it.

What is a bumper cover and projection lights?

I already have the billet grill as I have the Sport Appearance Group.

You alredy have the bumper cover too since you have the sport (no chrome bumper)
To see projection lights, hop on ebaymotors and search dodge ram and projection headlights.
