Valero Energy is a Texas based company, use to be known as Diamond Shamrock.

Where I'm, at in Lancaster several of the Mobil stations have changed to Valero but so far the prices haven't dropped. I've been getting fuel at a Chevron in a small town called Rosamond on the way to work. It's been 3.39 there for the past few weeks.

A no-name station next to my dealership just started selling diesel, but no new tanks or anything has been installed. In fact, they still use the old gas pump, but now it says diesel. They are so no-name they don't take credit cards at the pumps. I pass them to pay 5 cents more at a known station.
