Re:Window Tint %
I put 5% over the factory tint in the back . It is dark (black). Even when you peer in with your head right next to it you can't see in. Works great with the 'lil kid in the back.

Re:Window Tint %
Well I got the tint and started looking at putting it on. By the looks of it you really need to pull the window glass out in order to get a good good done on it. Looked at the manual and it doesn't not look too difficult.
Any other ideas.

Re:Window Tint %
Had mine cut by a computer here in town. Worked like a champ. I thought 30 was the shade to match the back windows. At least on a 97. Mine match nicely.

Re:Window Tint %
I had mine professionally installed for $100. The back and rear doors are 5% the front doors are 20% legal here in Florida. They did not pull the windows and it looks really good.

Re:Window Tint %
in FL, the legal limits are 35% on the front windows and 20% on the rear and rear sides...dunno where you got your info , but thats the current law..
For anyone over 35, I would not recommend anything lower than 35%. Seeing out of 20% at night with no street lights or in the rain, to make a turn is VERY difficult and you'll find yourself rolling the window down. Not cool. Also the added bonus of police suspicion with really dark tint! yay!
