Will a 2009 1500 rear bumper fit on an 04 truck

I can buy a brand new take-off bumper with brackets for a very cheap price but it's not worth it if it won't fit.....

Anybody know?????

Are you sure? 09 1500's are the 4th Gen body style. Dont they all have the cut outs in the bumper for the exhaust?

The one I'm looking at definitely does not have the cutouts. It doesn't even look like the same one as in your picture.....

Ding Ding Ding..... Boz007 is the winner...

Well, I went and picked all this up. It's definitely 3rd gen and in excellent shape. He had a big box with the mounting brackets in it. He opened the top and said "I don't know if you want this other stuff but we just want it out of here". Inside was a set of chrome centercaps that were pulled off when the truck was just a couple weeks old, a set of new lugnuts, and a brand new set of MOPAR Wheelocks. SWEET!!
I think the issue here was that he had advertised this all as being for a "2009 Ram 1500" when in fact it was a 2500 or 3500 which was still the old body style.
Anybody want to guess what I paid???
