Well that could just be a year difference. The process should be the same. I think I will try it, maybe a Saturday afternoon project. I think it would make blind spot less on passenger side at least.

I have not done it yet and with my skills I will probably need a new mirror also. Maybe I should try the passenger side first and if I break it we can share the cost of a pair. Probably cheaper that way.

i noticed that on my buddys new 07 dodge with tow mirrors, his has only 2 wires, and mine has 4 wires.i had bought a tow mirror, from ebay, off a dodge dealer, and i got a newer mirror, and it was the 2 wires, i used it until i broke that one too, so i bought one for the older 03 mirror. the 2 wire mirror only heated the main glass, and not the smaller blind spot mirror.just a heads up when ordering your glass

My '06 mirrors have heat on both the main mirror and the blind spot mirror. Odd the differences with the mirror heat even on the same model year trucks. It must be a mid-year break (no pun intended) with design or supplier change.
