Who makes the best tool box/chest for PU's?
Who makes the best pickup tool box? I have in mind Weather Guard, Rawson-Koenig (RKI), UWS, & Trailboss.
Does anyone have these? How'd you lik'em? Other brands......?

I have the RDS Manufacturing (Northern Tool) fuel and tool box combo in my truck, It has been a good box until last week I noticed fuel dripping from my bed, pulled the tank out and it had a hairline crack in the bottom. Got it fixed and put back in the truck. I don't know if it is a quality problem are the 159000 hard miles bouncing up and down rig roads.

Pro-Tech
Also check into pro-tech. Heavier gauge aluminum than most. Won't flex or dent under pressure like most. Cost between $100-200 more than most boxes on the market. Average cost $600 for a cross-box.

Weatherguard seem to be made of the thickest material from what I've seen. I've had DeeZee, Protecta, Weatherguard, Delta, and my newest one, John Deere. They all have been quality boxes, it just depends on how proud the manufacture is of them. They all will dent and rust when abused.

Made my decision. Goin' with Rawson-Koenig. I know WeatherGuard probably
best for leak protection. I've seen more R-K boxes on work trucks than any other. I'll get a WG when I'm 5th wheelin' & retired.
