My local fire station has a huge used oil storage container for the public to use. It's so convenient at the end of my street. Funny thing is, they only take "motor" oil. All of the autopart stores here take anything oil related, just no gas or highly flamable liquids, weird.

Here in CA, if you hold over 20 ish gallons, you need a EPA license.....

I don't know if they are were you are, but Evergreen is a waste oil company that used to pump for my old shop.

I called evergreen and for them to do a resedential pick up is going to be huge money. I am going to go get some 5 gallon containers and begin my quest of returning it all to the Local Walmart..

Dump it back it the jug it came from & leave it in a cart in the parking lot @ one of the stores you bought the oil from.

If you have any heavy construction sites(mining, big dirt work) stop by and ask the lube man. They usually will take waste oil as it is calc'd out vs. the fresh they put in the equipment. If there is a big gap like when we take oil to put in our personal trucks the bean counters worry.
