Anybody have advice on replacing my stock grill insert with a billet style? I'm tired of the black honey-comb getting wax stuck in it everytime I wax the front.

thanks
daniel

Precision Grilles

I have a matching polished stainless grill and bumper insert. They are made by Precision Grilles www.precisiongrilles.com . I bought them from 4wheelparts locally.

Kind of a PITA to install/lineup it is four seperate grill inserts that replace the OE. I cut out the bumper insert for my tow hooks, this came out great. I am happy with the grill and bumper insert. Grill was around $129 and bumper insert was around $89, dont remember exactly, but that is close.

Bought my upper and lower at an auto accerories dealer at a trade day for about $200 total.
You really have to be careful when installing the upper 4 pieces and the clips that hold them in can be stubborn and kind of hard to handle.

Yeah, that looks great. I wouldn't mind the OEM grille at all, but its not listed on the MOPAR site. Where did you find yours?

RamWheelsBy4,
I was considering the dash pod setup like yours and now that I have seen it I know that is the one for me.
Can you tell me where you bought it?
Also what gauges did you get and from where?
How hard are they to install?

Autometer 3 Gauge Console POD

The console pod is made by Autometer, about $25-$30. I bought Autometer Ultra-Lite guages (pyro, 60psi boost, trans temp), right after I bought the truck. I ordered mine from a local 4wheelparts store close by. I had them installed by www.hotroddiesels.com. Added a FASS and Autometer Ultra-Lite Fuel Pressure recently. I also switched the A/C control and gauges pod so that the gauges are on top. My current dash.
