where r the grease nipples

climbing under my truck today to do some long over due maintance i found 4 grease nipples by the wheels. i am not mechanically inclined and really never thought i had or needed to grease. i am finally getting my truck running good now and want to take better care of it. where else would there be nipples. found none along driveshaft. thanks for any info

i think you are talking about the brake bleeding screws. They kinda look like grease nipples, but much bigger. Ummm...don't grease those! lol

On your 03 there should only be two grease fittings...one on each tie rod end at the steering knuckle.

On my "0-0" there is also one on each side at the top of the steering knuckle. But not on '03's, huh? intresting. Vehicles are becoming less and less "servicable" and more just "re-placeable"......

Yeah...unless someone had already replaced the ball joints with greaseable joints then they are sealed and un-greaseable from 03-up...unless DCX just changed something.

Yup... Even Cheby has cut back on greasezerks... They only have 4 now instead of 11.
Ford dropped them also and most 2wd dodges don't have any either.
