Where to install Serius radio?
Any of you guy's got one and come up with a clever mounting spot? That huge suction cup thing it comes with is real ugly.
Also how'd you run the antenna, to the outside roof through the back window molding or somewhere else?
thanks

My mounting location in on my C.B radios, not much help for you there. I ran the antenna out thru the firewall then I ran it more or less along the fuel lines and came up between the box and the cab.

Check out my pics. I took that monster suction cup and modified it to the mount that you see in the picture. Just cut it off so that the ball socket was still usable to position the player. Works great and the cig light is right there for the power, just shorten the power plug and it's a clean install.

I just installed a Sirius Starmate Replay yesterday. I will post pics soon. Hopefully tomorrow. I ran my antenna wire over top of the headliner out the third brake light hole and put it on the roof. I have a clean way to mount the unit if you don't mind losing your pocket underneath your heat/A/C controls.

TRAVIST, is that holder scrweed in from behind?
JBODY I thought the same about moving the antenna from boat to truck but I believe they are only $30 so it's probably easier to get a second for the boat and run it permanent.
SOLARYELLOW05, did you stick yours on the top of the roof?
Thanks for the ideas

I put my starmate above the vent opening right of the steering wheel, screwed the plate that the reciever mounts to onto the dash, so the receiver still slides off, all the wiring is ran down through the vent, unseen

Yes it's screwed in from the back side of the panel. When you buy your other car or home kit it should come with another antenna. Mine did when I bought my craddle for the house anyway. I ran two screws in from the back side, one on each side of the mount. Sits very stable in that location.

TRAVIST, I did put mine on the roof. It is magnetic so there's no glue. I'll get a pic posted as soon as I get off work tomorrow.
