I need a service manual for 05 2500 and dealer wants $650 canadian how good are the disk ones you can buy on line any good links?

If you order the OEM Factory Service Manual on CD (PDF) then that is what you get in PDF format. There are a number of places on line to order the DR Service manuals. Most valid ones are around $100 and PDF format is great if your are computer friendly. It is nice to be able to search for what you want and then print only what you need if necessary.

I bought a manual on CD from Ebay. As far as I can tell, it is original and not an illegal copy. I paid much less than $650 for it. I think I posted the seller's ebay account name a while back.

i don't know if its legit or not but i just google dodge 2500 service manual and a service manual website was on the top of the list of searches and its 17 bucks on there.

Just bought a 5 book set off ebay paid 139.00 I also have the cd paid 20.oo for it, it covers 04 thru 06

I ordered my service manual using the order form that is in the operators guide. It came as two books one about 3"s thick and the wiring diagram book about 1" thick and it cost me $117.00 Canadian Dollars. that was in 2003 and our dollar was at a 30% disadvantage to the US. Dollar. I doubt it very much if the price has gone up to 650 dollars, but if it has why would we (this site) be interested in protecting the copy rights of a company that would charge $650.00 to supply a book to repair a truck that they manufactured. That is why I got a CD as well and I paid $5.00 Canadian for that one, and it is exactly the same as the paper version including the wiring diagrams.
