Whats the warranty on an 04, not an 04.5 for...

I am getting conflicting stories from the dealer with regard to warranty for two items.
The blower motor is squealing wildly and the AC compressor sounds like a bearing is starting to go out.
One service writer said that the 100,000 KILOMETER [60K miles] warranty covers anything on the truck besides the engine and wear and tear items like clutch and brakes.
Another service writer tells me that its only 60,000 Kilometers on these items...or 40K miles.

Any TSB's for this stuff? I looked in my owners manual and it says 100K Kilometers.

Round and round I go again.

My 04 Canadian warranty book says 3yrs, 60,000 km. basic warranty covers almost everything, 7yrs, 115,000km. on the powretrain with $100.00 deductable after basic warranty expires, and 7yrs, 160,000 on the engine with $100.00 deductable after 5 yrs. with no mileage limitation. I am afraid it doesn't look good unless you can convince them their part of the power train.

I tried to tell them the AC is for fuel cooling and is attached to the engine and the blower motor is just that... a blower on the motor.
[sigh] No good news on this front. And oddly enough the noise was not there on either part today.
Thanks for the info.

"And oddly enough the noise was not there on either part today."
