No joke on that. Look at the door panels and dash on a laramie... That's the 2 trouble areas. LOL, a glued on piece of fake wood?
Put some pleather on the gauge shade and some on the door grips and add a little more into the panels besides that, also better material that doesn't feel so cheap.. Heck it doesn't have to be more expensive, just make it where it doesn't feel like a block of plastic and same goes for the dash... Kinda like my 04 dash.
After thinking about it I might take it to an upholstry shop and get the pleather thing done and wrapped. The rest of the interior shows it's age in design, but they could patch it up better than 3 pieces of fake wood

Mega Cab Longbed, Diesel Power Wagon, Longbed Quadcab Power Wagon, The return of the NV5600 trans(flame suit on), Power Wagon options available on non Power Wagon(i.e., Winch, selectable lockers, electronic swaybar control, etc.), Availability of the manual shift transfercase in the Mega Cab, Selectable locking front hubs, Kingpins instead of balljoints, factory longarms and crossover steering, and none of this new emissions stuff(even though its here to stay).
