What price is a new 06 really going for? 2500 LB Quad SLT auto

I'm interested to know how much "dealing" the dealers are really doing. I hear so many different things. Some say they have an incredible amount of inventory to dump, some say it's all a marketing scheme. Anyone bought a truck this month and willing to post the price? Thinking of a run-of-the-mill 2500 Quad LB 4x4 SLT Auto. THANKS

Sounds about right...shop around...lots of places try to BS you and want to haggle to get a couple grand off the sticker price (mostly at large dealers). Other dealers will drop the price 10-12k without thinking twice and then start haggling over a coupel G's from there.
I ended up just shopping the 5star dodge dealerships inventories online, you can see the actual window stickers of all there trucks and email the dealer and request thier best price....this will also get you intouch with one of the "higher ups" in the sales department or in some cases the actual owner!!!!

I bought my last two trucks that way and basically just showed up at the dealer to pay for the truck, sign papers, inspect the truck and go!!!

I did the same thing. I bought my truck sight unseen then drove 80 miles to pick it up. I didn't necessarily drive to get the best price, rather I had to drive to get a black 4x4.

Also keep in mind local market will influence price and the dealerships willingness to bargain.

I have been scouring dealerships in DFW, Texas and, If you like red or white, you have a great selection and can get an even better deal. I might have waited too long to get exactly what I want. ('06 2500 QC, SB, 4x4, mineral gray)

I did the exact same thing, no lie...I drove 82 miles to get the solid black, didn't like the brilliant black they had locally.

I always deal with the GM or Sales Manager either by email or phone and get all of the number figured out before I ever even step in the dealership. You don't want to talk with anyone that does not make number decisions, they have a tendency to waste your time (no offense to any car salesman on the forum) . I got 13K off on mine when I bought it a month ago!

I bought my 06 2500 qc 4x4 slt auto for 11k off the sticker plus some extras at Grapevine Dodge in TX back in S eptember. I was looking last month to possibly replace my 03 3500 4x4 and they had all 06's for 12-13k off the sticker(no haggling). Im sure there even lower now.
