I'm about to become the owner of a beautiful new Ram. Always been a ford fan but I just can't stop thinking about driving dodge. I know you all probably don't like the ford talk but I can't complain about gas engine going 276,000 miles without a rebuild. I've been doing some shopping and I thought I found a great deal. There is currently a 2000 cash back deal going on and a 500 dollar holiday bonus. The dealer gave me a price of $250 below invoice. I had another dealer offer 1% below invoice. He also told me that I could get another 300 dollar discount for having a commercial drivers license. Are there any other discounts out there? I don't know if they are location specific but I'm in southeastern Pa if that helps.

 

If you are a Farm Bureau member you can get an additonal $500 off. You need to be a member for 30 days to be eligable AND you need to take your Farm Bureau membership card/papers with you and show to the dealer at the time of delivery. Farm Bureau membership is something like $40/yr. Just call up you local agent and tell them you want the $500 Dodge rebate deal and they will get you all set-up. I also took advantage of Financing thru Farm Bureau Bank, their 5.9% intrest rate beat anything the dealer could get and all the banks and creadit unions I called

Are you looking to order a truck or buy off the lot

 

Looking to buy off the lot. I went to the dealer tonight and put a deposit down on a truck that has to be brought in from another state. Right now I'm looking at $3050.00 below invoice with all the rebates and bonuses going on right now. I can't really argue with the price but I was planning on paying for the truck cash and every penny counts when you're not thinking of paying it over 5 years. I was just amazed with that 300 dollars off for a CDL I thought there may be another offer out there I could get. I don't think the farm thing is going to work being I live right in the heart of Center City Philadelphia.

 

Is the $300 CDL discount good only in certain areas or everywhere? I can't find any info on it here in OH. Thanks!<br>Chris

I don't know if the commercial driver's license rebate is good everywhere but it's being offered by the manufacture, not the dealer. They just needed a photocopy of my license and they knock 300 bucks off. I didn't know anything about it until the dealer and I were trying to squeeze the truck I wanted into my budget. That's why I came here looking for other discounts. I figured if they're willing to take 300 dollars off for the kind of license I have maybe I can get some more money taken off for being a class a mechanic or a licensed electrician. Hell, I'm a certified scuba diver. Money is money and if I qualify for a discount, I want it. Just need to find out what they all are.

I had the same concern, but they don't care. They know 99% of the folks who inquire about the rebate don't know a thing about Farm bureau nor have any intention of staying a member, just want the $500 rebate and then be on thier way. It is a win - win situation. Farm Bureau gets your $40 and in return you get $500 from Dodge.
