Looking at buying a mega cab and need to know how long they are (short-bed). I need to make sure it will fit in my garage...

My garage is 269 inches but I have a work bench so I only have 248" to park (that touching the bench).

Will I fit?

 

Its 247.7 inches long.

 

Do not forget the garage door reinforcement on the back of the door. This may project 1 to 2 inches into the space that the truck will occupy on the back of the door.

 

You won't fit.

My mega fills my 20 foot concrete pad and overhangs approx 2 feet for a total length of 22 feet.

 

I'm real lucky. Mine fits in the garage with a few inches to spare. I can actually squeeze past the front, but not past the rear. Concrete lip at the front matches the front wheel distance perfectly.

Dodge site lists them at 247.9 inches.

Mine is about one foot from fitting in the garage. I would need to modify the spare bedroom closet to get it to fit! But don't think I haven't thought about it. Just can't seem to get the wife to agree........yet!

 

You guys could always get a custom rollpan instead of your rear bumper to make some more room.

 

I went out and measured mine in the driveway. 1/2 inch from front plate to 1/2 from rear bumper....250 inches.
