what i would like to see in dodge trucks
i'm not a tall person (5' 9") and when i get my seat adjusted perfectly for my feet and back, i have to reach for the steering wheel a little farther than i would like. tilting the steering wheel down more helps a little but then it starts to block the speedo and tach. i actually have the seat fairly upright since my back likes that better.
having owned 2 dodge trucks since 2003, i've always thought that a telescoping steering wheel would be nice. we just got back from vegas and rented a dodge magnum. guess what? it had a telescoping steering wheel and i loved it. they have adjustable pedals in the trucks but why no telescoping steering wheel?
anyone else think the reach for the steering wheel seems a little long?

I have the same problem, but Im taller. Im 6'3", and with the pedals all the way back, I have to reach a bit for the wheel. If I move the seat up, Im getting tight in the legroom.
I agree 100%, the telescoping wheel on the Magnums should be in all Dodges!

What I want is thicker stronger body panels and paint that will hold up. It is a crying shame that these trucks look worn with normal mild use!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see an vendor make a thermostat for the Tranny heat exchanger.
in CA, its 100 deg days, I don't need my tranny fluid running though that heat exchanger.
but when I go to the snow, I od want it to warm up. Does not seem that hard to me to make a thermostat bypass.

i want EGT, boost, and trans temp gauges in the dash. Ford has boost and trans temp, why cant we? The 06 Juice/Attitudes can show trans temp read off the ECM, so why cant they just put it in the existing instrument cluster

here's what I would like to see as options:
rear air bag suspension/front would be nice too so you could adjust ride height
6 speed auto (coming)
VGT (coming)
different wheel diameter for more tire selections or more tires!
contractor package (generator, compressor)
larger or aux. fuel tank
adjustable power level (econonmy, tow, drive - like a fueling box/prgrammer)
dually that is the same width as regular truck (extra capacity without extra width)

deere nut: I believe Dodge is bringing the Contractor Package out to the public sometime soon. But it isn't just a generator.... it is a diesel hybrid with the ability to use the engine as a generator! Same thing the military has had for some time now. At least this is what I heard. But you know how THAT is.....
Me, I'd like to see better paint/sheet metal and better seats. The seat problem is fixable if you really need it to be (buy new seats!) but the paint/metal issue isn't so easy. Gotta love a truck that scratches when you sneeze on it

Personally, I'd like to see a flat panel on the fire wall with a dual sided terminal board that we can screw wires on the outside and the inside. My only reason for not wanting more gauges and lights is the hassle of finding a rubber boot to shove the junk through and then trying to get it to seal up. I have a two sided terminal block on my desk but no real estate to put it in! Or just give us 3 or 4 square inches where we can drill and put a boot or what ever we want without a bunch of crap in the way. How hard would that be?
You know the poeple that design these trucks drive BMW's and crap, don't you?

A 7th gear!!!....G57? Seriously, the factory setup is nice when towing heavy but sux when cruising empty . Maybe a factory installed GearVendors OD?...best of both worlds.
