What I hate about my new Dodge!!!

MO 94-97 cupholders suck, if you have anything taller than a can in them and make a right turn quick the drink falls out of the left of the cupholder because there's hardly any side support. And vise versa with a sharp left turn.

With only 1000 miles I don't hate anything yet. There are a few things that are not up to snuff.
The AC does not seem to do the job in the Mega Cab.
I wanted much better than the 15 mpg that my ford gave me. So far it's about 17.5. That should improve as it loosens up.
My biggest compliant....The wife drove my Powerstroke once in 6 years. I have driven this truck to work about four times. I can't get her out of it.

As far as the AC goes, you have remember the huge volume of air that needs to be cooled in the mega cab. Tinting the windows helps and keeping a window cracked when the truck is sitting in the sun helps too.
I turn on the air with the recirculator on, open the back windows about 3 inches, and turn the fan on max. After about 2 minutes, I close the back windows. The AC catches up just fine. After a while I turn off the recirculator and have to turn the fan down.
Also, see where your rear AC vents are pointing. If they are pointing into the carpet, they are not doing much good and the front vents are forced to do the work.

I'm amused, your only concerns are cupholders (dont like mine eighter but not an issue). How about a lack of fuse/relays for the trailer harness so you dont blow your ECM!!!! Mean looking, Big-O 4x4, cant push through 4 or 5 inches of sand w/o severe wheel hop!!!!! I guess it all depends on how and where you drive.
One great ride on the highway though, awesome pull-en power.
Walley World has some cup holders which slip between the seats sections, about $4, work good. Genos are the best.

My '05 has really good cupholders, not like my '94. They were right at the top of the dash and flopped around like crazy. I got more than one drive though pop down my pantleg.

The cup holder in my 06 CTD sucks, yes I bought the truck for its durability, I loved the cup holders in my 05 1500 Hemi. In some ways I think they cheapend the interior of the new trucks, I do like the insulation in the doors, nice quiet ride for a diesel.

Other than cupholders (which by the way I hate because you can't move them, they are stationary and make the center front seat basically useless), comparing 01 to 06, the new truck mileage sucks!!, big fat keys suck, having a cat conv. sucks, light colored seats/material sucks, no park horn/warning sucks, and the rear LSD sucks. Truck is too quiet!!! Sounds like crap even with a MBRP muff and no cat. Also, I can't find a nice polished finned aluminum diff. cover for the front.
Other than that, I like the looks of the new truck, stock power is pretty good, tranny feels stronger that old stock, power flip out heated mirrors are nice, rear power sliding window is nice, engine compartment seems less "cluttered", nice that they include 4 prong trailer plug stock, truck drives great....even with 4" lift and 35's.
