I like them both ways, but at different times....I may not like either. It can depend on the angle, view of the picture even.

I really give a major thumbs up to the "look" NRiver has on his first pic with that size tire....(I think 35'' x 12.5 bfg mud terrains) and the satin finish wheel with the painted axle tubes/lugnuts. Awesome! And the blacked out look in his 2nd pic is nice too. I am just not a big fan of the "bling" wheels in the 3rd pic...but it really all boils down to your own personal tastes.
I think it looks better with the caps off. It being blackend out and all, the center caps just bring your eyes to them, they're distracting.

Without looks better, especially the rear axle, the front axle looks as though something is missing, but what a great looking truck!!

BTW, if you paint it white.......
