I like it better with the caps. I feel like if I saw it driving down the road I'd think, "****, some punks stole his caps!". As long as you like it though, that's what really matters. It is your truck afterall!

how about caps on the left, no caps on the right.

Polished wheels left, satin right. black left, polished right.

This is where I may go next, the multi personality truck

best of both worlds, LOL

Can't remember who, but someone put chrome GM caps on a set of black rims. Looked real nice.

Leave the caps off, put some taller springs in front, add a prerunner bumper with lights and you'll look like a desert racer!

I like the second look myself, but my lug nuts are ugly already......and if I sprayed them black Im sure it would flake off w/ the impact gun when installing

Where is a good place to get a light bar I want one that stays close to the truck since it is so long already.

I have the Randy Ellis Design bar and really like it. Has tabs for 4 lights, bolts directly to the frame via the tow hook mounts (but you keep your tow hooks), and comes poweder coated all at a good price - $200. Here are a couple pics from his site. It comes in black, also:

Defiant makes top notch stuff, and they have an awesome bar that really hugs the front bumper, but its a little more money - $280. You can get it with 2, 3, or 4 tabs for lights. It mounts the same way so you don't lose your tow hooks. If you don't mind losing your factory tow hooks, or don't have any, Defiant's old light bar is on close-out for $135! That's a smoking deal. It's the same thing as the new design except you lose your tow hooks.

Flip a coin. I think either way looks good. The caps are a little difficult to clean and plus around here the thieve like to steal them.

Must be a Texas thing??? I am going to leave them off for a while and then when I get tired of the look maybe I will put them back on. I think with the prerunner light bar and lights it will look even better.

IMO they look better on, but I say leave them off if you like it better that way.

How about this. Since you don't like the caps on and want a contrasting black on chrome look, try painting the caps black and see how they look on. That way you get the black centers without the "something is missing" look.
