I am interested in the Westin Oval Tube Step for my new truck because it seems to have the good looks of a standard 3" nerf bar while being a safer and more functional step for someone who needs assistance entering or exiting a 4X4 quadcab SRW. Has anyone installed this step? How was it to install? How do you like the appearance? Is it functional? If someone has a photo of their truck with this step, that would be great. I'm also interested in how much space is between the step tube and the truck body........could your foot slip through while using it? ???

put the westin ovals on mine about three weeks ago and i think they are great. easy to mount, about 30 minutes on first side 15 on second. they adjust in good and tight with only about a two finger space between cab and step. i'll try to get a picture up tomorrow if i can. also, mine are black and you really don't see them, they just kind of blend in.<br><br>
