I did the same thing and love the new one. That sounds like a smokin' deal too.
My '93 finally got put up for sale after some time. I really hate to see it go. It's the easiest vehicle to work on I've ever owned and you can't beat the dependability of a 1st Gen (the newer computers/electronics are far from flawless). Good luck to you and maybe I'll see you in the 3rd gen forums!

Ive got 1st and 3rd gens, never owned a 2nd gen, but i am thinking of getting one for the wife cause she keeps taking the 3rd gen.
I love both trucks, but the new one is SOOOO nice.
