after 4 hrs i got the truck 2004 2500 4x4 48re 600. All the nice lil creaper featrues. Reason it took so long is i went to one dealer, They didnt get me on the financing that i wanted. So when i went to the other one they could have done it. But Crystler wouldnt let Dealer B do it when Dealer A couldnt. Something about being 20 and buying a 43 thousand dollar truck. SO i picked out another truck. Not built the exact same. Lost the 6 disk changer for a rear window defrost, FIne by me im a XM listener anyway

Lost the in dash 4wd selector for the on floor. Its got all kinds of mirros, ON drivers side its got the regular, Passenger has the trailer tow. Few hail dents, Tires and rims are off of like a st, plaine jane kinda stuff.

So monday there gonna come pick up the truck. Got 3k off for the hail. cost me 1200 to get that fixed

I get to pick the rim and tire of my choice at no extra charge.

And the mirrors where build mistake ( no wonder theres vibrations haha) So im just soposed to "try them out" and then pick when im done at no charge (or refund if i decide not to go with trailer tows which i will, I think i can see more with them haha)

Took a 42k truck, with addons hit about 45, then with the trade in ( gave me 4k for a 97 360 gasser with 187k for miles and problems too long to list) FB discount, College Grad discoutn and rebates ended up to be 37890 with titles lic all that bull ******

Made the first payment today along with 2500 down so im sitting just peachy. Im excited, But not as excited as i though i would be. I think my excitement is hindered by the depression of the loss of the 97, I loved that truck. IT was so much my baby. Been with me since new, only thing constant in my life nemore (dad died in 02, so the grandparents took eveyrthing. Long story but life sucked for awhile haha)

ANyway Im rambling so im gonna get down to what most of ya pry wanna know anyway

Over head puter on the way home said 15.2mpg for average, only has 82 miles on it. bought it with 4( right off the truck today hehe) Which makes me a lil more excited, I wanna get 18 outa this pucker but well see. Those were all hwy miles, cruise set at 75.

Vibration. Not really sure if i have it or not haha. Like i said old truck had lost of problems and the 99 vibrates too so if i do have it. Doesnt seem to bother me. What i did notice is right at 2000 rpm it had the drone. Sounds like it starts at the front of the truck and slowly works back,. Then leaves , then comes back to the front and back. So gonna have them look at that too. Overall so far a happy camper

Yeah, its been for sale for 7 months with quite a few calls, but then they see the mileage and run haha. So i decided screw it.

Dealer A gave me 5k for it. but my payements were also twice as much every month. First truck ive ever bought myself. Mother decided it would be better to go horse ride than help me out on the negotiations. SInce id never done it before. But just ran the build sheet through dodges side and kbb and I came out 2k below Dodge and the same as KBB so I guess im ok. Not only am i a 40k Gueine(spelled right) pig but it was a good lesson in life haha. But, They fought really hard got my financing when the mosti could get newher else was 13k. Nates happy

Not sure about other things in your life, but as far as trucks go, your doing much better at 20 than I am at 30! I made some lousy money choices right out of college, though, and will catch up pretty soon. Of course the wife and two kids sap a lot of my finacial resources from the getgo...

I hope you enjoy the truck.. No worries about what you paid..every dealer is different, and if you enjoy the truck, thats all that matters.. Hell, Im only 24, and Ive got a 04.5 600 6 spd 4x4 quad cab long bed in my driveway

Well, took the truck out again tonight for fun, got 176 on the clock now, Gave me my first pain though. My darn cheeks are so sore. constant smile. Its gets up and goes. Ran her purty hard though. Gotta quit doing that. Cant wait to get a tank hand calc read out. Got the over head up to 17 though. But dealers fillin her up the next 3 times soooooooo Cant do nething bout it yet.
