just wanted to know if anybody still is with this topic, cuz my 05 is showing symptoms. i posted on the bed misalignment and never really got any feedback. i did call my dealer and the seal that was ordered to replace mine is the new number, and we'll get with a body shop about the door alignment.our dealership doesn't have a body shop i guess. they at first wanted to take the door off and bend it not really want i wanted to hear so i was glad my son found this thread and will talk about re aligning the door, adjusting hinges i hope. glad to have found this site we are new to third gen dodges so far i like it better than my 7.3 ford.

Werewolf, I'am still on this topic as my 2005 was tearing at 500 miles. Now at 3000 it is torn and the paint on the point of the door where it rubs has worn the paint down to the primer. Will have to have TSB done. Luckily I work at the dealer and will fix it (seal)myself.Pass side is slightly torn .Rob.Will try to take pics of door and old and new seals.

Yeah...I am going to make an appointment for my second set of new ones......this time I am going to mention aligning the doors so they don't rub as bad.
I think the TSB is good for as long as it is around......I could be wrong, though.

My '03 had the new "style" replacement done about a month ago.(Dealer said he did it because it needed it, but "could not find a TSB for it"?? Anyway- the door adjustment part looks fine, and the snow still falls in the cab.........

Finally got it fixed!!!
I too my `05 in the the Dodge dealer here in Danville, IL. They said they knew nothing of this problem. I opened both doors to show te dealer both shredded weather strippings. He said that there's obviously a problem and that he would order the new weather stripping although the part numbers have not changed nor is there any TSB out on the `05's. He called me, said the weather strippings were in. I dropped the truck off, picked it up and whadda ya know. There were 2 fancy new weather strippings on the truck with "dips" moulded into the area where the door rubbed. Now the door no longer rubs. The buzzing is gone from the torn weather stripping and the doors do not leak (I'm been in some pretty hard rains with them). There is no noticable wind noise (increase or decrease that I can tell). I call this one FIXED!!!! Now if the could fix my 68mph vibe I'd be in Dodge heaven
Case and Point:
Find a dealer that will just replace them - the new parts that they order will be the ones you want. You may have to a little
PS:
Been off the board for a while. Good to be back!
