Weather stripping on the front doors anyone else???
On the 2 front doors just where the door closes. If you have your door open and are looking forward where the windshield is, then you close your door you will see that the corner of the door rubs along the weather stripping. Both sides have been torn. Has anyone else have this problem? Its a warranty issue i know, just want to know if I am the only one? Also when they replace it, its just going to happen again. Any tips to keep this from happening when my warranty wears out??

It is a TSB, although I don't remember the number. I had the weatherstripping replaced just over a year ago. It's a little bit smaller/narrower than the original. I've not had any more tears or leaks with the newer/updated ones!!

Had my drivers side done about a month ago...did not fix the wind noise problem...anyspeed over about 65 MPH(110KPH) and the drivers door gets sucked out a bit and you have wind noise.
The only way to stop it is to crack your window a bit, but then thats a different noise.
Also, will suck door out if there is a cross wind.
If you rest your knee against the door, you can feel the door shift as your speed pics up.
Kind of a pain in a 50K truck.

Had the same problem a year ago and they fixed it right the second time. They took it to the local body shop and had some minor body work done to the door and now I get no noise, no tear, no leaks and all in all I think it is the only way to fix this prob.

I had both of my doors done the other day. Works great now. Don't forget to have them replace the bottom weather strip too.......the new one wraps around and prevents all the mud, dirt, debris from coming in on the rocker panel.
I also, after debating for a year, had them do the white smoke flash TSB......milage increased 1 mpg as advertised. No decrease in performance that I noticed.....truck runs just as great as ever.
