I have used a lot of different waxes over the years and have found this one to work the best for me. It goes on easy, is not abrasive and lasts longer than anything else I have tried. It used to be called 2001. http://www.turtlewax.com/products/pages/t-26.htm
Also I use this wash and wax http://www.turtlewax.com/products/im...ce/zipwash.jpg
They also have a pretty good website. http://www.turtlewax.com
I started using this wash and wax after I saw a travel trailer that was 15 years old that was in perfect condition without sun damage. The guy showed me that he washed it with the zip wax from day one. It was never garaged and had never been repainted. In our area the sun does tremendous damage.

One person says Turtle wax is junk, the next swears by it!! I have used Meguiers for over 10 yrs on some vehicles, but now I have been looking into the new Turtle wax platinum series. I have always used the paste wax, but Being the truck I have is my first brand new vehicle I have ever bought, I dont know if I want a paste or liquid. I'm worried about swirl marks with the thicker paste. I had a habit when I was 18 to wax my yellow IROC at least 2 times a month!! . Any body have any experiance with the Turtle wax platinum stuff??

B dog: I can attest to the quality of the one in my post. I also have a black truck and it does not leave swirl marks nor does it leave that funky residue that is almost impossible to buff out by hand. The F21 says its good for a year, here in 6 months in the sun is about it. It will still bead water but not like it did at first.

1500.00
1500.00 for wax? I love my truck, but my mortgage payment is not that high. I will keep using my liquid gold. It does a good job.
Tell me one person that is going to pay that??

to remove excess wax from black bits I use "mother's" back-to-black
for wax I highly recommend KLASSE all-in-one and then to seal it KLASSE High gloss sealant glaze it is available at mercedes dealerships and works awesome. (see pic in gallery truck hadn't been washed for a month. KLASSE is expensive but you can use it on the glass and plastics and it doesn't cloud them up it shines them.
neighbor told me about his truck is a 95 toyota and looks brand new . Just mt 2 cents
