I use Pinnacle products from AutoGeek
http://www.autogeek.net/ .
Depends on how bad the water spots are. I had to use the Porter Cable buffer, and Advanced Swirl Remover to get them off. The web site has some great tips for car care. The DP glass polish will get water spots off glass when nothing else will..

Gotta love the Hard Water here in Va. What part of Va are you in?
Anyways, I had a black Trans Am Convertible before this truck and I used Zaino wax on it. That stuff's awesome and smells yummy too......

Zaino's here on my black truck. Get the Clay Bar system and do that first. That should eliminate the water spots. Then the polish and it will look better than any new truck ever thought about!!

Depending on the quality of your paint, I would start by removing any tar, then do the bar clay treatment, followed up with a polish & a wax. If you have some oxidation you will want to use rubbing compound & a buffer before the polish.

For water spots I wash the vehicle using car wash soap mixed with vinegar. My Brilliant Black Magnum got nailed one day by a sprinkler system and had a bad case of water spots, the soapy solution worked.
For polish I use either Black Magic or Turtle Wax Color Wax (Black).
