water weter-cooling
#2
i have been running it for 20k miles. dont see any kind of damage. I blew a freeze plug in april and had to refill after the fix. didnt see anything wrong. no corrosion, mud, muck, debris, particles, anything at all. i really dont see my temps change like the bottle says, but i have the factory installed temp gauge/idiot meter.
for $10, it can hurt. even if it just restores the inhibitors in the coolant like the bottle says, its cheaper than coolant is nowadays.

I ran it in my Malibu and never saw any improvement on the temps, but mine is a full blown race car with aluminum heads, water pump, intake, and rad, so i didn't expect much. I quit buying it because I pull the motor out to much.

Water wetter worked good in my race car. The cooling system could have been a little bigger, and I didn't want to re-engineer the whole thing, so I tried the water wetter. Took about 10 degrees off the top. Just enough to keep me in my comfort zone.
