Water Leaking from Visor
I got in my truck the other day and drove out of the parking lot when a drop of water dripped on my hand!! I looked and it was coming from the piece next to the mirror(The visor mount that us used to lock the visor in normal use) I am pretty sure one of the clearance lights must be leaking. I will be calling the dealer to have him fix it. I am wondering if anybody else has had this problem?

i dont know about newer trucks but ive heard of them leaking on the 2nd gens after a little while. I know from experance the 3rd break light gasket goes too. With the clearance lights its possable the gasket is bad, installed wrong or the screws were over tightend cracking the plastic.

Unfortunately it is common. Mine did that so I pulled the ones off that had moisture in them and sealed them to the gaskets and then sealed the gaskets to the roof with clear silicone...

Cab Lights
So far have not noticed any cab water leaks, but I did have all five roof clearance lights replaced by the dealership under warranty just a couple days ago. They all had what I'm calling stress cracks in them. They all looked to be internal cracks, and I really could not feel the crack on the out side of the lens. Cause may be over tightening at the factory or just exposure from the sun with maybe condensation build up I guess.

I noticed that Dodge has switched to a different cab light for '06. It appears the new lights have a different gasket design.
I personally have experienced several leaking lights on various Dodge trucks that I've owned and thats why my '06 was ordered without lights.
