VIN #--Is There A Way
To look up my VIN on the 'net and find every detail about my truck?
My salesman had a 3 page sheet with codes, which indicated every option and feature on my truck...I forgot to get a copy from him
I'd just like to know every detail...I'm weird like that....

Great Thread....
From a newbie truck owner...this was a great thread and very informative. Picked up my 1st truck for hauling vintage racers around. Not much information from the dealer, but Dodge was able to tell me the things I need to know in order to start adding UPDATES!
THANKS!
Note: Now I can modify my signature as well!

They are not always 100% correct. Like my fuel tank is listed as 34 gallons but I have run till the truck is sputtering and only been able to get 28.8 gallons in.
Wish I did have the 34 gallon capacity.

PSRumors,
Get the vent kit or stand around for 20 minutes dribbling fuel in and you will get all 34 gallons in. You can actually stuff closer to 38 or 39 in it with the vent kit. See the other thread currently running.

I've seen that Rock but I have litterly had the truck sputtering, went 50 miles past 0 on the DTE and had fuel (not foam but liquid) at the rim of the filler neck and it was 28.8 gallons.
I thought about dropping the tank just to make sure there is nothing in the tank, maybe some small person working on the assembly line decided to take a nap?

mcmopar, is that VIP report available on dodge.com? Or do you have to get it from the dealer? And what is it exactly? I've never heard of that one before. Any info would be appreciated.

Any of the service writers can pull and print this info for you. Just have your VIN handy. We do it quite a bit. Pretty much the same info as the window sticker, just easier to read and has the sales codes.
