I have used the Vent Visor tape style for over two years with zero problems, They look good with front window tint that matches the rear window. By the way Bob, got my CB bracket today, great product and fast shipping, Thanks

Yah, but I don't want the big stick on your paint type and the Wades are pretty cheap...

I highly recommend the Weathertechs. I've had them on the truck since Jan. of 2000 and they still look good.

A word of advice on the Auto Vent Shield in channel visors. The design of the front vent shields is kinda tricky to install. They have a "tail piece" that needs to be worked in behind all the stuff that is in between the outside mirror mount and door. If you do not get it installed correctly it will go "SNAP" when you roll the window up.

Happened to me twice so far. Both times on the drivers side. I have a couple of extra other visors laying around if any one needs them.

I snapped a set on my passenger side. But the driver's side fits fine. I superglued the second passenger side visor to the mirror because it just wouldn't lay flat. What is there behind the mirror to tuck it into?

On my 06 the is a chunk of foam that fills up the area in between the mirror and the door, sound deadener maybe?. If you do not get the visor wormed in between that stuff, there is tension on the visor.

Or maybe it coulda been the fact I installed the first ones in the dark with a few barley pops along for the ride?
