Unknown hose and steering jitters
Tonight, when I was airing up my tires and checking the spare's pressure, I noticed a hose that goes from the brake distribution splitter in the back to up above the driver's side rear shock. It seems to be a heavy rubber hose, like fuel hose and has a small plastic vent on it.
Also, it seems like here recently, my truck has slight vibration around 70mph in the steering wheel. Just had my front tires and wheels balanced again, and told them they could put weights on the inside and outside, just so that it was balanced. The truck tracks straight and alignment seems OK. Steering is tight, and there is no play in any joints. It does seem that small bumps in the road seem to make the steering wheel clunk very very slightly. Also, truck has approximately 11K on the clock.
Also, should threre be about a 1/4 inch gap between the steering box and the steering arm? Seems you can look up into the steering box.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
