You never seen or heard of a dealer selling a 5.9 model for half of msrp.... Hmmm.... Wouldn't trade mine for nothing, no emission's and a proven design is worth the extra to me!!

I am sure diesel prices, the economy, and Dodge just about bankrupt all have conspired to set these prices this low. I think market forces more than the difference between the 5.9 and 6.7 have helped pave the way for these prices.

Agree with pretty much all of the above... but seems hard to go wrong for 50 cents on the "overpriced" dollar!

He told me he could let me have any '08 on the lot for 50% off the MSRP! He walked over to the '08 like mine, the MSRP was $46,000, and he said he would let me have it for $23,000 today without me even negotiating! They are making room for '09's. I could not believe it. I paid $36,000 for mine in '06 and thought I got a good deal.
Thats an urban legend going around. I went to my dodge dealer and the most discount he would give was 28% off list, plus he wouldn't even appraise my 05,didn't want it at any price.

Thing that scares me is whether or not there are going to be dealerships to perform warranty issues---or parts available when needed

Here in Texas, you know us and trucks, there has never been a 50% diesel. Though they have done the 50% and 65% off the 1500. Also your trade in is only 50% of what the blue is.

This one is not on Snopes.com fellows. I was there and I am telling the truth. If you dont believe me then call them. PM me if you want there info. The salesman was as serious as a heartattack. I am pretty sure he would not have told me that if he was not bale to stand behind it.

Thats the correct response.

All these crazy incentives, rebates, below market APR's, employee pricing, REALLY caught up to the used market, huh?

Glad I put over $9K down on my 06, prolly STILL be upside down before long at this rate.

This makes no sense to me.

Does no one need to pull a heavy trailer?

1/2 ton trucks seem like the luxury to me.
