I had chrome MKW's for two winters before I had to replace them with a black set. The chrome started to pit and look cheap even with me keeping them waxed and as clean as possible. I got tired of looking at bling bling wheels turn sour, not sure if you live near snow but mine didn't stand a chance. Chrome does look nice, but black seems to be a lot easier for upkeep.

I would agree with the black being much easier to take care of

Looks like they have some interesting backspacking.

So, if I have 17x8s with like 5.2" back spacing how does a 17x9 with 5.5" backspacing compare? Would they stick out of the wheel wells another .7"?

Just curious. I like the the back spacing I have as far as keeping the tires under my Extend a fender flares.

Finally got'em on Wednesday and cleaned up the Blue Bus this morning.

Ultra # 214 "Grinder" in 20"x9" wrapped in LT305/60R20 Goodyear Wrangler SR/A's.

Hopefully a MODerator can re-size these for me.

Nice looking truck!!! I like those wheels alot. I think you made the right choice going with the chrome.
