Turning Radius of 2500's

I have a '99 and I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2010 Cummins. I cannot find any info on the Dodge website about turning radius. My '99 is a quad cab, and I can turn around very sharply. That is a big deal to me due to the driving I do.

What are / where can I find the turning radius's of each model? Specifically the crew cab or mega cab.

Sorry about all the "newbie" questions, but I'm scrambling to find info to make my decision. I'll have a "what oil do you use" in a few weeks.

Any help could keep me from buying a ferd!

Shows 2010 Crew Cab 4x4 149.5 Wheel Base Turn Circle Diameter of 43.91 feet. Search through the site for what model you want.

Yeah, I was going to say it, but you already did,,,,, I don't have the dimension's on either one, but I can sure tell the difference in mine going into my driveway,,,, my '01, before being totaled out , the turning radius was very good, now the '07 turning radius is quite a bit bigger to me,,,, I've had to back up and try again because I'm still in auto mode from driving the '01,,,

I noticed the difference immediately on my '07 regcab coming from a '98.5 same setup. The cab is much longer and Dodge increased the wheelbase about 4" I believe. No biggee in my configuration. Ford used to have an awfully wide turning radius but knocked 5.5' off of every configuration. I love this new cab,but do miss the shorter wheelbase and seats of my old one. That's all I miss.

You got that right.

Have you guys noticed the new trucks Dodge & Ford have no rear wheel well protection? No protection from salt spray, sand, rocks, etc.? You would think they would offer than as an option rather than chrome plated mirror caps.

Dodge used to be so proud of their turning radius, and it was a HUGE selling point for me as I do a lot of manuvering and not a lot of highway work.

Yep that was one of the first things I noticed going from my '01 to my '03(both dually). Turning radius was much sharper on the '01. I think the wheels just actually physically turned sharper.

Second thing was that the heated seats in the '01 got MUCH warmer.

Third thing though was that the '03 was way quiter, and quicker.....

At least we can buy some quality wheelwell inserts. Neither Ford nor Chevy offer it.
