So....

The SM's assistant calls me and said, your truck is done. She stated that they didn't do the most important step on the TSB, which was to enable the feature. She apoligized and said it's ready for pick up. Well, how about that... I guess they believe me now.

Anyways, it works great. If your thinking about doing this to your 2004.0. Make sure you tell them specifically to flash then ENABLE the feature. It seems like a common step that is overlooked.

Does anybody know if this will apply to my '03.5 with the 6 spd if i install the clutch safety switch like the 600's do? is the wiring there for the switch?the conditions for that tsb apply to my truck except the manual and model year.

It's my understanding that there was a major Control system change between the '03 & '04 trucks. The '03 has both an ECM and PCM and the software was DC. The '04 has a CM that does both jobs and the software was Cummins supplied. If this is the case, then no, there is no way this TSB will apply to your late '03 no matter what you do to what switches.
