Unhappy Truck's going to the dealership today...

Well, I'm finally getting my recalls done plus a list of minor things I need fixed. I absolutely hate letting anyone touch my vehicles. I think I may have some sort of syndrome! I faxed the service manager a list of what I needed and he seemed pretty confident in his two diesel techs. We'll see if they get it all fixed without telling me "Could not duplicate problem". I'm not as lucky as some of you guys in that this dealership charges $89.00 to recalibrate the speedo!

Pray for me and Dodgezilla..........

They actually gave me a free Silverado 4x4 to drive while they have the monster. The guy yesterday failed to tell me that they will need the truck for a few days though. The transmission tech is out until Thursday so it will be at least Thursday evening before I get it back... Oh well, that's 50 less miles on it each day they have it....

You get to flog a Chevy gasser. Maybe it's pistons will rattle and slap so you can close your eyes and think it's a diesel.

SPOTS! How could you say that?!?!?

I did flog the rental truck a little bit. I'll tell you what, this 5.3 Vortech will move! I wish Dodgezilla could move like this thing does....

As for Dodgezilla, I'm losing faith in the dealership already. I originally faxed a list of 12 things needing attention including the 2 recalls. I did this because I knew I would forget to tell them something if I just went off my crappy memory. I called the guy back yesterday afternoon to tell him that both of my front door speakers rattle, my list just said drivers door, and he said that the other guy didn't even put that in the computer. He also forgot to enter that my block was leaking antifreeze where the heater plugs in and that I needed a state inspection. I swear, he had the list in his hand!!

Keep on them, that's the only way to get a job done.

Well, I got her back yesterday and she's OK. Of course they had to order a couple of parts and they could not duplicate some of the problems including the door speakers rattling so I'll have to fix that myself. I'll have to take it back in a couple of days so I'm not putting the EZ back on yet. Man! What a difference without it...

A set of components and an amp would make those door speakers quit rattling.
