These trucks for the most part get LOTS of miles out of brakes.LOTS.If your "eating"rear brakes you have got a issue.Truck ever been wrecked? How many miles do you get out of front brakes? Rear brakes? What all has been checked? Calipers can and do freeze and or if when opening a caliper and pushing grud and brake grindings into the seals you will have sticking etc. FILL out your sig.like the rest of us.

rear disk brakes on any truck seem to be a problem ,i worked for gm in alberta ,oilfield trucks were wearing out brakes in 20 - 30000 km from mud intrusion ,if the vehicle is used for towing ,extra weight on the rear axle will wear the rear brakes fast as well, try setting up trailer brakes a little higher if you have a controller,i always set mine to just about equal with my trailer just slightly lower so the truck does some braking ,if the trailer is heavier than the truck set it more to brake equally ,hope this helps

i assume its the 10hrs a day 250km of mudboggin i do at work that is making short work of the rear brakes. its got like 50k on the rear so i guess thats not too b ad for the conditions, wonder if anyone makes an upgraded rear brake shield in alberta??
