Train horn install?????

Ok so I bought a 3 trumpet train horn set off ebay. Opend the box and on my lord they are HUGE

Now where do yall have them mounted? I have a 2WD so I'm a little concerned about the bottom of the truck but it still seams like the best place. Do yall have a problem with them scraping? If you hae a pic of the location that would be usefull too.
Thanks,
Mark

Seems to be plenty of room under the bed in the front corners, Between the bed & outside skin. This is where I plan on putting my air compressor & 3 gallon tank.

Mount them on the frame rail, the good thing about horns also is now you have an excuse to put an airtank on your truck which could come in really handy.

A friend of mine pointed me out to a site and I was cracking up laughing after watching some of the videos. All about train horns.

I have 2 sets of real train horns. I'm only using one set but they're kinda pricey and also very large (5 horns)

I have the Cannonball Express Train Horns. 152dB and they are SWEET! Mine are mounted just in front o fthe fuel tank facing backwards so I don't get road grime in them.

Sounds like the same kit I bought off Ebay. I mounted the compressor in my bed tool box, drilled a hole in the side of the box, ran the air lines through the side of the stake hole, and mounted the horns to the bed frame directly behind the rear passenger side seat facing forward. They seemed loud at first, but they seem to be getting "softer" or I am just getting used to them.

Good luck they are a bit of fun, just be careful who you honk to. I would feel bad is some blue haired old lady had a heart attack because she would not get out of my way.

Jim
