If it is like our 03s the plug pig tail should be in the glove box and it plugs in to the the plug on the left side of the steering wheel shaft.

Yes it does. The connector is either clear or blue if i remember. I also think it has a label on the harness bundle. Just keep digging you'll find it. over by the parking brake; its in there somewhere.

It's light blue and snaps onto the bulkhead connector bracket. In the past I have seen these not snapped in to the bracket, but actually taped back onto the harness. Mostly that was on the 1500's. My first 2003 didn't come with it at all. I had to wire it directly to the battery, stop switch, ground and trailer feed. A 2500 Cummins w/out trailer wiring? hmmmmmm, who missed that box to check off?

Yeah, I need to hook mine up... Just got that blue brake wire left. Is that what you're refering too?

Did you find the plug under the dash? The Blue wire should go to the TT brakes.

I had to get a harness because mine didn't come with a 7 pin. I still have the blue wire and don't know what to do with it.

I haven't bought a controller yet, I assume that's where the blue wire goes since it leads back to the trailer.

That's what I did with my first 2003. I had to run my own ground and power wire. Plus the trigger to the stop switch. It is simple though.

Where did you run your ground... I don't want to sit there and drill a hole in my frame. Also was I correct in saying the blue wire goes into the controller?

Sorry for the thread hijack!

Thumbs up No zapping!!

There is a BIG ground point on the driver side fender along the top edge near the battery. Run the (+) and the (-) together through the firewall. Make a small hole in the gromment below and to the left of the column(approx a 1 1/2" gromment. on autos it is the selector cable pass through). The controller you buy will require four wires. The two you just ran, the blue wire from the Mopar harness, and the wire you tap into on the brake switch. Sorry, don't remember which one but a minute or two with a test light will get it right. ALSO, don't hook to the battery until everything is in place wiring-wise. There are alot of bare metal places under the dash and I like fireworks, but not in the truck!
