Trading up to 3rd Gen...

I am thinking about trading the truck in my signature in on an '06 or '07 truck. I would have to say that the vp44 is the weak link on my truck along with the ball joints. Do newer 3rd generation trucks have any problem areas with the fuel system or anything else that is well known?

Thanks,
Keith

Very good time to buy one depending on the Dealer and the inventory. MSN had an article today about Dodge offering the best deals of the year. They didnt say what they were though. Here in Golden Colorado there is a Dealer with 2 solid acres of 06 Cummins. Lots to choose from here.

The pump is better. But the ball joints are just as bad or worse. They are sealed from factory so their days are numbered. I have not heard that many complaints about injectors.
