Toyo tires

Looking to replace the stockers with the TOYO Open Country AT LT285 70R17 121S OWL. Does anyone here run them??

If so how is the ride and how is the tread life?? And what about snow traction??

Thanks

I run 'em. Same size too. Just switched back to stock for plowin'. The ride is way rougher than stock. I have about 7k on mine and am not at all happy with tread life. I will not buy them again.

Really? Love my 'E' rated ones. Snow traction is good but ice isn't so much, rougher than stock yes, and my treads look like only the nubins have worn off.

However, it should be noted that I only have these tires because I can't get the M-55's in the size I want - that's a tire IMHO. Have them on my company truck and test them all over the oilpatch - can't be beat.

Love Mine

I just switched to them but the 126s E rated in the same size. At the same time put on a leveling kit and Bilsteins all the way around...... Couldn't be happier. My truck rides better than it ever has.

Man, Toyo A/Ts have the best tread life out of any tire out there. I love them . In fact I have the same tire that I am running on my truck. The tread life on this tires lasts forever, far better ride and quality then any other tire.

I have em too. I really like them. Not totally happy with the wear but as good as I ever get out of tires. Seem to get a bit noisier as they get to 1/2 way or so. At least that is what I am thinking. Wont know till I put new ones on. There great in mud, have been good in snow, suck on ice. They look great and that is mainly why I have them. I could bet much better milage out of a highway tire. Surprisinly quiet for such an agressive pattern.

Love the M-55's

I have the exact tire and love their stability and ride quality. I must admit that I too am a fan of the M-55's. I wish they'd cut loose with a 285-75-17 and a 35-12.50-17. It would be a good compromise between tread styles.

That just gave me an idea. Look for another thread. I need some more backing than just me emailing my rep.
