Tow Mirrior shake

So i guess this is a common problem with the tow mirrior shaking.
Anyone ever taken apart one and found out what the problem is?

That's the first I've heard of it.

Mine don't shake.

Shake at idle? or shake while running down the road? Shake while folded out or in?

Mine have always shook while on the highway with them folded out. I used to worry about it but it's been three years now with no problems. My wife's GMC conversion van does the same thing.....
